ABOUT TWIN FLAMES YAEL AND DOUG POWELL
AND THE THE MESSAGES FROM GOD

"The Uniting Twin Flames website was created by SoulMates Yael and Doug Powell with guidance through the Messages from God. The Messages are the result of Yael’s thirty-five year communion with God in meditation (please visit www.circleoflight.net). In their relationship Yael and Doug have walked through many challenges, as God has directed them how to unite Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine on Earth and to assist all human beings to dissolve blocks to the heart and to come together with their Twin Flames.

"Yael and Doug were brought together in 1986 at a Sufi Camp weekend in the Ozarks. Their eyes met as Doug entered the room. Because of her disability, Yael was lying on a bed behind the speakers, quite inaccessible for social contact. For most of the workshop, all they could do was look at each other from a distance. When the workshop was over, the group with whom Doug had arrived dispersed in different directions, so he ended up going to Yael’s home, and they have been together ever since.

Yael speaks about her life and some of its challenges:
"I had been meditating daily in communion with God for many years but it was in 1983 that the Messages began in earnest. At that time I was in therapy, grappling with memories of terrible childhood sexual and physical abuse from my father. In addition, the death of my son at 15 months had left an unspeakable pain in my heart. Then, confirming the physical pain I had felt for some time, I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, a progressive genetic disease of the spine (from which my father had also suffered). I could no longer work. I had to leave school to which I had returned to further my education. I was in excruciating pain and could hardly get out of bed. It felt as though my life was totally falling apart. In agony at every level, I decided I did not want to continue to live in such a state. I began to make plans for suicide.

"In the midst of this pain, I called out to God to help me. In my meditation, God came to me. Suddenly I began to be lifted to a place of great beauty, of sparkling light, and I was filled with an amazing energy that felt like dancing golden rain. I was washed in light. I felt the loving presence of God. Each day this began to happen. Messages came -- beautiful reassurances, and I wrote words to capture the experiences and read them back to myself when back in my normal consciousness. I gained strength. I knew there was a reason for my life. I began to record God’s Messages to me, Messages that gave me courage to live each day in such terrible pain. The Messages spoke of deeper meanings in the things I was experiencing and truly they saved my life.

"In 1986, God brought me together with Doug, my Twin Flame. I had dreamed of him before we met. I knew he was my destiny. In December we were married, and sitting together in meditation for the first time, God revealed that destiny. I closed my eyes and touched Doug’s hand, and my entire being exploded into light. God’s loving presence grew and we were alive in luminous golden light. We seemed to be a flame lit from within by God. The flame burst forth, jumped the gap between us and poured forth from us in an outgoing river of Love reaching for humanity. We were to serve together. In the midst of this experience I found a notebook and pen and I wrote. Thus truly emerged the Messages from God about SoulMates.

"When Doug and I came together, along with the glorious light and the vision of our work came many years of ego-based relating as we worked through all of my painful experiences and the slow mending of the disconnected Masculine he carried. Believe me, our way has not been easy. We have had more than ordinary challenges. Doug is a very physical person who enjoys outdoor activities. Sailing is his passion. He is an artisan who has magnificent talent for working with his hands and does pottery, glass bead work, furniture making and drum building. When we came together, he found himself with a wife who not only couldn’t share these things but who lived in constant pain and whose physical activity was extremely limited. Together over many years we experienced all of the multitudinous ways in which ego can separate a couple. We each became obsessed with our businesses, separating us from each other. My physical condition caused me to make demands, and Doug would retreat. Always the Messages from God brought encouragement, led us back together and taught us to relate from an open heart.

"Now you may wonder why I have this disabled body if I have this glorious connection with God. So did I. So many times I have asked this of God. Now, however, I have come to clearly understand that my body is my service, my connection to the suffering of humanity, and it is also the connection of suffering humanity to God. My body is the bridge across which this connection can be made. Believe me, it took me 20 years and two experiences of being on the brink of physical death to even begin to understand this. Finally, God allowed me to fully see and experience the truth about myself and Doug. I was shown our lives from a place of total purity, as God sees our lives. I saw how carefully this life was planned. I was shown that I had agreed to come to Earth to embody the wounded and oppressed Divine Feminine as it appeared in human consciousness. I would live this in a body. And I was shown Doug, agreeing to embody the disconnected Divine Masculine - but both of us would always carry, intact, the stream of Love.

"We now understand that between us, we are walking every step of the human path back to the reconnection with God that is now happening on Earth. My body will be healed when it is the reflection of the healing of the Divine Feminine on Earth. As the Divine Feminine is healed, the Divine Masculine also returns to balance. At that point, the Twin Flames everywhere will return into union, perfect union.”

Yael speaks about God’s plan:
"The calling together of SoulMates is the most thrilling part of the Divine Plan for Earth. This is the main focus of our spiritual center, Circle of Light, and of course, the focus of this website. The union of Twin Flames all over the Earth will accelerate exponentially our ability to bring the Earth back to Love. Under the spiritual law of like resonance (like attracts like), we would not normally draw our SoulMate until our hearts were pure and perfect Love, without ego. There are few of us on Earth in this place. However, God has given us the SoulMate Dispensation which allows SoulMates to recognize and magnetize to each other now and grow together in Love. The powerful Love generated by SoulMate couples will transform and heal the Earth, and will magnetize ALL of humanity to Love. This website has been given as a gift from God to all who feel its vibration and who sincerely desire to connect with their Twin Flame to serve humanity.

"God is calling the great Twin Flames who agreed before incarnating to assist in bringing the Earth back to Love. These beings have been immersed in Earth life and what God calls “the illusion,” but they are now awakening and beginning to hear God’s call. The Love of Twin Flames reunited has an incredibly powerful magnetism that, given in service, goes forth to open the hearts of brothers and sisters everywhere to Love. The Twin Flames, individually or in pairs, will be drawn to attend a workshop with us at Circle of Light where the opening of their hearts will be greatly accelerated. Workshops here bring about grand changes in people’s lives, opening them to their Twin Flame and even bringing Twin Flames together. Couples who come find their relationship completely transformed. The series of workshops will produce the Rings, or groups of Twin Flames. Each Ring will magnetize the next until an exponential current of loving SoulMate energy is available for the entire planet. Because I am unable to travel, God has given us the gift of bringing the Twins here to us. Please attune deeply to your heart and ask which workshop you are meant to attend. The schedule for 2004 is April 23, 24, 25; July 2, 3, 4; September 10, 11, 12 (reunion for Rings), and November 5, 6, 7.

"The most important part of everything we do is our connection with God. Everything I am telling you comes from my genuine and passionate communion with God each day. I wish so much to give every person everywhere this same experience of the Love that is waiting for us beyond the veil of our present lives. It is truly Heaven on Earth.
